1) How does this tablet compare to other tablets
Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker, has expanded its product line to include other categories such as smart TVs and now tablets. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Mi Pad 5 tablet a few weeks ago and have been using it ever since. Here’s my review of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Tablet, along with details about pricing and where you can buy it.
The Xioami pad has similar specifications as other tablets such as the iPad and Samsung Galaxy. The screen is bright with wide viewing angles, the resolution is very high at 2048×1536 pixels, and can be easily read in direct sunlight. The CPU/graphics combo is powerful enough for games and apps, though you might notice some slowdown if you have too many things running in the background.
Battery life is excellent and lasts a full day of moderate use. It comes with a few pre-installed apps that cannot be uninstalled, but you can always replace them with your own favorites. The camera takes decent photos but low light performance could be better. On paper, there’s nothing wrong with Xiaomi’s tablet–it just doesn’t stand out from its competitors as Apple or Samsung do. However, given its price point (and excellent value), it may still appeal to those who want a mid-range tablet without breaking their budget.
2) What are the best features of this tablet
The Xiaomi pad has a lot of features, but there are a few things that stand out about them. The tablet is designed for productivity and entertainment, so let’s look at what exactly makes it great for these purposes. The first thing that stands out is its excellent camera quality. Not only does it have a 16-megapixel rear camera, but also a 5-megapixel front one as well.
Both have lenses with a large f/2.0 aperture which allows more light into each photo you take—meaning your photos will be clearer and have better contrast, even in low-light conditions. The rear camera also uses a large 1/2 sensor which means more light gets into each pixel—resulting in brighter photos overall. It also records video in 4K resolution, making every video shot look crisp and clear.
It’s also got a microSD card slot if you want to shoot more videos or take more pictures without filling up your phone storage. It comes with 32GB of internal storage space, but that can be expanded by using a microSD card (up to 128GB). This is perfect if you want to store some movies on your tablet without having to stream them over WiFi or LTE.
3) Is this an upgrade from your previous tablets
This is our first tablet from Xiaomi and we weren’t sure what to expect. Would we like it better than Apple’s iPad Air 2 or Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3? Could it replace a laptop for some of our work needs? We used tablets extensively for work and entertainment, so would like nothing more than one device that can do both jobs. With so many options on the market, you have some tough choices in deciding which is best for you.
If you’re looking for a new tablet with an amazing price tag, then look no further than Xiaomi’s latest offering. The Mi Pad 5 offers great value at an affordable price point, but does it stack up against some of its competitors?
4) Where can you buy Xiaomi’s new budget-friendly device
If you want to buy a MiPad, your best bet right now is probably on Xiaomi’s official store. If you’re in India, however, look for retailers like Flipkart and Amazon. It’s unclear when or if Xiaomi will bring its new device to Western markets like Europe and North America.
But don’t worry if you aren’t based in China or India—we’ll update our guide with any news about international availability. For now, here are some other online stores that might be carrying MiPads GearBest (international shipping), AliExpress (international shipping), and Banggood (international shipping).
5) Who should buy this tablet?
If you are looking for a decent tablet at an incredibly cheap price, look no further. The Mi Pad 5 really does offer some amazing specs for just a few bucks. If you want a device that is light on your wallet but heavy on quality, then Xiaomi’s offering should be right up your alley.
It’s perfect for students and casual users who want something better than what they can get with an Android tablet in that price range. With 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM, you can store thousands of songs or movies and have enough left over to browse Facebook, watch Netflix shows, or play games like Candy Crush without having to worry about slowdowns.
You can also expand its memory by using a microSD card if you need more space. All things considered, we think that most people will find plenty to love about Xiaomi’s latest budget tablet.
