She is a famous Indian actress and model. She was born on September 3, 1984, in Mumbai. She is a graduate of Mithibai College of Arts and Commerce in Mumbai. Shruti participated in a beauty contest and won the title of Miss India International in 2006.
After winning this title, she then went to compete in the Miss World 2006 pageant but could not make it to the top 16. However, she was given an opportunity to work with Karan Johar as an assistant director for ‘My Name Is Khan.
In 2009, she made her debut with Kunal Kohli’s ‘Aisha’ which garnered her many accolades including National Film Award Special Jury Award Special Mention (Feature Film).

She is the daughter of Dnyaneshwar and Laxmibai who is from Mumbai.
Marathe studied at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
She is also interested in fashion design and has been into designing dresses since her childhood. Shruti also mentioned that she loved singing during her school days.
She started taking professional training for dance under Geeta Roy Chowdhury of Shiamak Davar’s Dance Academy, after which she joined Bollywood for four years as a dancer.
