Nandamuri Balakrishna is an Indian actor, politician, and the current MLA for Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh. He is the sixth son of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. T. Rama Rao, and has appeared in over 100 films in a variety of roles.
Balakrishna began his acting career in 1974 with the film Tatamma Kala and has since appeared in many successful films, including Narasimha Naidu, which was the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2001.
